Solomon’s Temple-Inspired Dimensions

Solomon’s Temple was designed with a 6:2 length-to-width ratio.

Adapting this, the church’s proportions follow a scale of 1.5 times the original biblical measurements:

1.            Church Length – 60 cubits = 90 ft × 1.5 = 135 feet

2.            Church Width – 20 cubits = 30 ft × 1.5 = 45 feet

3.            Church Height – 30 cubits = 45 ft × 1.5 = 67.5 feet

4.            Madhbaha Length – 20 cubits = 30 ft × 1.5 = 45 feet

5.            Madhbaha Width – 20 cubits = 30 ft × 1.5 = 45 feet

6.            Madhbaha Height – 35 cubits = approx. 53.96 ft × 1.5 = 80.94 feet

7.            Vestibule/Portico – 20 × 10 cubits = 30 ft × 1.5 and 15 ft × 1.5 = 45 ft × 22.5 ft

8.            Verandah/Courtyard Width – 6 cubits = 9 ft × 1.5 = 13.5 feet
